Today I am forgiving ...

When I began this quest of journaling "today I am ...", I felt overwhelmed by the process of writing and publishing everyday ... what if I couldn't keep up?  I had journaled 93 "today I am ..." entries that late evening in December ... and what if I missed a few days ... how would that work with each phrase? would I be doing it wrong?  will the words still be right?  and the spinning inside my body and head began ...

I started this journaling process to learn about myself ... to share my thoughts and words with others ... to engage others upon the quest of writing and exploring authentic self ... and soon I felt the pangs of guilt for not keeping up with the daily writings ... and then today's word appeared in the journal ... forgiving.

Can I just say that each time I miss a day ... the EXACT word appears on the page before me!  I should know better than to be surprised by the offerings of the Universe ... but I am still surprised by Universal Intuition!

As I rested in the sauna listening to the thoughts of forgiving ... I remembered the word splits into ... for giving ... and I instantly felt peaceful.

No longer did my mind's conversation lend itself to the need to forgive others or myself for deeds undone or thoughts unspoken ... the need to forgive others or myself for deeds done or thoughts spoken ... the negative, heavy and guilty feelings associated with the word forgiving washed away to reveal the love and service of forgiving ... for giving ... forgiving.

My physical body actually sighed in relief ... I would be kinder in my thoughts and actions today ... releasing the old connection of guilt and forgiving ... to create the new connection of service and for giving ...

These days of writing are personal and universal for me ... today I am forgiving.  Regardless of how I write and publish these journal entries ... I am guided by the knowing that all is perfect in this moment of time ... each phrase returns to its original intention ... to guide me ... to teach me ... to honor the human spirit ...

How will this day of forgiving unfold for you? 

Perhaps a meditation, prayer, or simply a time to write in your journal ... moments of for giving ... to give yourself and your soul the opportunity to remove old patterns of hurt, disappointment, anger or resentment. 

Forgiving ... for giving you the universal gift of love to heal your body, mind, and soul ... to shine brightly today in light of forgiving.
