Today is Wednesday, January 13, 2010 ... and I am sad. 

I woke up and opened my journal to see what I was suppose to write about and became unsure of today's writing ... I saw the phrase "today I am sad" and wondered how this could be ...

For the next few months I am able to stay home on Wednesday mornings and so once my daughter left for school, I turned on my computer ... and saw the sadness ... the tragedy of Haiti ... the pain and suffering ... the children ... the families ... the sorrow ... unimaginable ...

Today my heart carries sadness ...
